Valentine's Day wreath

Valentine's day is just around the corner. I love decorating my house for all the big holidays and even the little ones. I decided I was due for a new wreath and there are so many cute ideas for Valentine's day. I found a really cute one that caught my attention on Pinterest but of course I made it my own.

Valentine's Day wreath

Materials:
- Burlap ribbon 15 - 30yds (9.99 at hobby lobby and used 40% off coupon)
- Fabric Wire
- Felt for making rosettes
- Letters (I used iron on letters that I ended up gluing on from hobby lobby 1.99e)
- Wire wreath holder (about 2.99)
- Twine
- Fabric pins
- Hot glue gun

So all my materials were under 20 bucks! I ended up going to Hobby Lobby for more burlap the next day and used my app for the 40% off coupon again.

There are a lot of tutorials for doing ribbon wreaths. They are all very different. I watched several videos on Youtube until I found the right tutorial for me.

After completing the burlap wreath I then cut out felt material for my letters and glued them onto a piece of twine and tucked them in the wire base. I then made felt rosettes by using a circular household item to trace.

After cutting the circle I then cut a spiral from the circle.

I then rolled up the felt and pinned

I also free handed a felt heart and glued along with the rosettes to the burlap wreath.

Today marks 2 years since Trav asked me to be his wife :)

XOXO
