(I apologize for not posting much last month. It's been a crazy month and to be honest probably won't post much this month either.)

This little stud always steals my heart with his big blue eyes and adorable little smiles. I love how animated he gets in every picture. It was a beautiful day. And this little guy and his mommy had a secret they wanted to announce. I was shocked and excited to be able to capture such a happy moment. You guys are good! :) ENJOY...

There were a lot of mixed emotions about Eli being a big brother but overall I think he will love having another friend to conquer the world with. 

That's right Eli is going to be a big brother October 2015. I am ecstatic for my best friend and her growing family. You guys are so blessed. Love you all. I can't wait to meet the new little Morse.

BABY B (5 weeks)

Dear itty bitty baby,

I can't believe you are actually growing in my belly. I have prayed about you many times and God has blessed us. We found out at 4 weeks. It was Friday, June 26. I ended up taking the day off after waking up to a doggy mess from your fur sis Stella. She was having a very rough week but all is well. I had been feeling extremely tired that week, random mood swings (more than usual) and was obviously late. It was so weird I was just having weird twinges and kept telling myself she was going to show up. Your daddy and I have been training for a 15k in September so I thought that was the delay. I finally decided to just go get a test. I got home and soon after Travis pulled in from work. I went and took the test and to my surprise it came up immediately positive. I was extremely shocked with excited and fear. I rushed downstairs to tell Travis the news that we were expecting. At first he didn't believe me but I decided I didn't believe me either. So..I ventured to get two more tests just to be sure. After a short trip and self check out later, I was staring at 3 POSITIVE tests in front of my face telling me the news I have been anxiously wanted to hear. 

Today I am 5 weeks 7-1-15. We still have to wait quite awhile before announcing your existence. We have yet to tell very many people but have plans in the next few weeks to tell all your grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It's been a crazy lately especially on my side of the family. Your big cousin Madelyn was born a week ago. I am so excited that you will have a cousin the same distance as me. Cousins are the best. My mom told my aunt at the hospital that she was pregnant with me. So we were just a week off from knowing you were in my tummy. 

Symptoms: Extremely tired. I could literally go take a nap at anytime of the day. I am hungry all the time but nothing sounds good in particular. I don't feel too much nausea yet but I know it's too soon to tell. All the blogs I read say to get ready in the next couple weeks.

We have your first Dr. Appointment July 24. It will be the first time we hear your heartbeat and see you for the first time. I am sure to have much more to report later on.

Favorite Maternity Shots

I am wrapping up the rest of photos that were taken last month...oops! It's been a very busy month (no joke). I am thrilled that I was able to capture such happy memories. We had such a wonderful day and the weather was PERFECT!

We are hoping to hold baby Lewis in 10 days or even LESS.

 Wow, has the time flown by. Excitement is truly an understatement. I absolutely love everything about newborns. Who doesn't love the smell of a brand new, adorable baby?! 

I am also dying to know what her name will be. It looks like Baby L will have to wait for any personalized gifts for now.

Couple Anniversary

Today marks a special day for Trav and I. It's the day we became a couple five years ago. It's hard to believe half a decade has gone by. I realize to some that is very minimal but it's mind blowing to me. 

If someone told me back then I'd be where I am now I would think they were crazy! 

There's a lot history between us. We have known each other probably 15 years without truly "knowing" one another. I moved to MTZ in 3rd grade and I became best friends with Lindsey (Trav's youngest sister). Also 3 years later Travis was on a summer baseball league with my brother and we traveled a variety of places. I might have developed a small crush. Two years is a substantial age difference in elementary school so I never really put any further thought into it.

We were babies when we first started dating. I had just started working at ADM and Travis was finishing school. We have accomplished so much in FIVE short years: new jobs, getting engaged, getting married, adopting dogs, buying a house, buying our first car (together) and so much more. There have been many ups & downs and lessons learned. The good memories outweigh all the bad, our love continues to grow. We are not perfect, just human. All in all, we are blessed. God is so good.

Baby Shower Details

Happy Saturday,

In the last month I have had the pleasure of helping and throwing one two showers for my sis-in-law. I love this stuff, seriously. I made some of the cute crafts with the help of my dear grandmother. I am so glad to have the gift of her crafty-ness and we have created a lot of cute DIY projects recently. I will be posting a few later on but here are just a few of my favorite details.

Baby showers are so sweet and fun. There is something amazing about the thought of a little miracle coming our way. Precious, exciting and brand new. We are less than two weeks away so I decided I needed to get this post going before she gets here. ;)
